Mental Health Month—Events, Presentations, and PRograms

Join NAMI Waukesha as we co-host with community partners several screenings of Suicide: The Ripple Effect in May for Mental Health Month!

NAMI Waukesha will be joining a partnership with WISE, Prevent Suicide Greater Milwaukee, Mental Health America of Wisconsin, Rogers Behavioral Health and Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services, to provide three local showings of the documentary film, "Suicide: The Ripple Effect."

This film documents the journey of Kevin Hines, who at 19 attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge, and, since then, how he has catalyzed a movement to help others stay alive and find recovery. Proceeds from these films will go toward providing local suicide prevention efforts.

Showings will also include Q&A, as well as discussion with one of the cast members.

Wednesday, May 9
